The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Themed “Law and Compassion”, Teen Talk 2017 focused on how should one take these two elements into account when considering a legal issue. Does public awareness play a role in the carrying out of justice? Aiming at stimulating students’ thinking using legal, logical and social perspectives, an interactive seminar, followed by the moot court competition to take on the role of debating on a hypothetical case in court were held for students to participate in.
